Anyone can publish a page here without an account, so anyone should be able to tell us when one of them is harmful. Reports go to a person, not a queue.

Canonical URL: https://gpt2link.com/abuse

## Send a report

Reports are email. There is no form here because there is nothing behind a form — a message reaches someone who can act on it, and a submit button that dropped your report into a queue nobody reads would be worse than saying so.

[Email a report](mailto:gpt2link-abuse@usecanal.dev)

Opens your mail app. If it does not, write to [gpt2link-abuse@usecanal.dev](mailto:gpt2link-abuse@usecanal.dev) directly.

## What to include

The more of this you can give us, the faster the report can be acted on rather than investigated:

- **The link.** The full URL you were sent or landed on. A page here is identified by its address and nothing else.
- **What is wrong with it.** Phishing, malware, a credential form, impersonation, illegal content, someone's private information — in your own words is fine.
- **Where you came across it.** An email, a message, a post, a search result. This is often what tells us whether one page is a campaign.
- **How we can reach you**, if you would like an answer. You can report anonymously; we just cannot come back to you if we do not understand something.

Do not send us copies of illegal material to prove a point. The link is enough, and it is what we can act on.

## What happens next

We may investigate, restrict, disable, preserve, or remove content; unpublish a page; limit or block access; suspend or close an account; and take other proportionate action, as described in our [Terms of Service](https://gpt2link.com/terms). We may act without advance notice where that is reasonably necessary for safety, security, law, or policy enforcement.

What we will not do is promise a response time we cannot keep. This is a small service. A report about active harm — phishing, malware, a page collecting credentials — is looked at before anything else.

## If the page has already expired

A published page lives for 60 minutes and is then destroyed, so by the time you write to us the page you are reporting may already be gone. Report it anyway. The record of a page outlives its files by 30 days, which is long enough for a report to still identify what it is about — and a link that has expired can still tell us something about the ones that have not.

## Copyright

Copyright and other intellectual-property complaints go to the same address. Tell us what the work is, where the authorised copy is, which link is infringing it, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

## Emergencies

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We can take a page down; we cannot reach a person. Send us the report as well, and say in the subject line that it is urgent.
